1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Scribelo application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Scribelo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at[email protected]if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Upload content that is harmful, deceptive, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to Scribelo (such as your profile photo). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display it solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Scribelo name, logo, design, and all app code are the property of Scribelo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use Scribelo's trademarks, trade names, or other intellectual property.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scribelo and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from within the app under User → Delete Account.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
